Generous in its format and flexible in its combination

The Bow Low Tables by Guilherme Torres read like a clear line drawn through time. Their metal-clad bodies nod to the 1970s’ space-age optimism, while the glass or marble tops hover above rounded bases with a deliberate calm. Offered in five sizes, they slide, overlap, and stack into multi-level constellations that turn a living room into a quiet kinetic field, useful surfaces becoming a small architectural landscape.

Torres approaches the series with the discipline of an architect and the curiosity of a collector. Born in Londrina and based in São Paulo since founding his studio in 2001, he chases enduring archetypes rather than trends: corners softened, proportions tuned, materials kept honest. He has said the 1970s fascinate him for the way geometry and material met social change; that spirit carries here, where a “perfect match” is always one arrangement away. The Bow family grew into the ClassiCon collection in 2018 and expanded in 2022 with a new rectangular height, extending the vocabulary without disturbing its order.

In practice, the tables adapt to context as easily as they converse with each other, seen in settings from the Mandarin Oriental at Lake Como to the Changi Lounge in Singapore. Recent silver-toned finishes, including polished aluminum, deepen the play with light and surrounding surfaces, lending the group an urban clarity without sacrificing warmth. Arrange two or three, mix marble and glass, and the room gains a sculptural rhythm that stays useful day to night.

Low tables. Available in three tabletop sizes and four table heights. Table natural or burnished solid brass sheet, with clear varnish or solid steel sheet, black lacquered. Tabletop crystal glass, black lacquered or marble tabletop in various versions, polished and impregnated. Height-adjustable felt gliders.

Brazilian Guilherme Torres is famous for his innovative residential and commercial architectural projects as well as his interiors and furniture designs. In 2001, he founded his own studio, today headquartered in São Paulo. Clear forms, minimalistic details and an expressive yet discrete range of materials are among the trademarks of Torres, who was born in Londrina. The internationally renowned architect considers himself to be a perfectionist who never tires of repeatedly revising and improving things. A quote from the French music duo Daft Punk underscores this attitude not only on the walls of his studio but also on his skin: “Work it harder, Make it better, Do it faster, Makes us stronger.”
